ARTsmart Student Work at the Museum of Encaustic Art

ARTsmart is a 501c3 nonprofit that was founded in 1993 and provides visual arts to more than 9,000 youths annually in Northern New Mexico. ARTsmart provides art materials and year-round visual arts instruction for elementary through high school students. ARTsmart’s mission is to serve our communities by providing educational opportunities in the arts that promote confidence, self-discovery, and creative problem-solving skills.

Please join us from noon to 5 pm Saturday, July 14 at the Museum of Encaustic Art for a special juried national show called Global Warming is REAL. Works of encaustic art (wax media) with the theme of endangered animals made by ARTsmart ARTcamp students with Melinda Baker will be featured and will be on display until September 2nd. ARTsmart thanks the museum and Douglas Mehrens for this opportunity.
